Off-campus insurance saves a lot, but! unless budgetary considerations, I do not recommend off-campus insurance

I think unless you feel like you won't get sick or injured this year and insurance is just for school requirements, then you can choose this cheap way to deal with insurance.

I'm the one who chose off-campus insurance, but after a year, I regret it.

The on-campus health center is simple and quick to make an appointment, and you can see everything. The medical examination equipment is complete. The key point is that the doctor can speak Chinese!!! The school will not charge you money for medical consultations, and you can get many vaccines for free, such as HIV mastoid The virus can be treated for free, and the insurance premium is very cost-effective just after the treatment.

As a foreigner, I don't know anything about the American medical system and how to see a doctor. Because I don't know how to make an appointment to see a doctor, I always go to urgent care every time I see a doctor. The wait time to see a doctor is super long. Unless it is a cooperative medical institution of an insurance company, you will have to apply for a claim from the insurance company afterwards. The point is, whether it is cooperation or not, the insurance company does not pay the full cost of medical treatment, and I still have to pay twenty or thirty dollars out of pocket.

I feel that the time and energy cost is not worth the money I save. In the past six months, I have seen a lot of unexpected doctors, but I was very tired by the insurance.

The following is the teaching of off-campus insurance

The off-campus insurance teaching is very simple and clear, it can be done in just ten minutes, and you can save $2500.

But remember to verify your student status after school starts, and take a document to the school registration to fill in, otherwise you will find that the insurance company refuses to pay the claim.
